Reference the blog write up here. This overnight trip involved 15 miles of hiking with 8,800’ of elevation, along with 38 miles of biking with 3,000’ of elevation. Since I had my van I did not attempt to take it up the Forest Service road so opted to park at Longmire and bike to Tatoosh Trail #161 on FS 5270. After summiting Stevens (#81) at 7 PM, I bivied below the saddle of Stevens and Boundary, tagging Boundary (#82) the next morning. Although views were obscured by low clouds and/or smoke, the weather otherwise was quite mild and it cleared up during my bivy to time lapse the stars and Perseids for 4 hours.
