Mt. Rainier 2024 Compilation

Although I spent much of the summer season (June and July) elsewhere, I had a good run of outings in the park. Whats included? An early season backcountry ski, the Western Loop, two Wonderland Trail hikes (CCW and CW), some outings for backcountry camp mapping, the seldom visited Storbo mine site, 6 peaks, the Northern Loop Trail, RAMROD, and an end of October overnight in the Tokaloo Alpine Zone. 2024 totals: 595 miles with 117,000’ vertical. This was a busy year so my forays into the park were fewer than 2021. Nonetheless, it was a good year with hiking (including Wonderland Trail #34), biking and skiing. Total stats: 376 miles/72,800’ vertical.
